J\u00e1 na&nbsp;<strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-0-color\">hipopn\u00e9ia<\/mark><\/strong>,&nbsp;ocorre&nbsp;a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o do fluxo de ar em 30% a 50%. Embora diferentes, as duas condi\u00e7\u00f5es trazem as mesmas complica\u00e7\u00f5es.<br><br>Os sintomas mais comuns s\u00e3o ronco, epis\u00f3dios vis\u00edveis de interrup\u00e7\u00e3o da respira\u00e7\u00e3o durante o sono observadas pelo parceiro de cama, sonol\u00eancia diurna excessiva, dificuldade de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o, irritabilidade, dores de cabe\u00e7a matinais e boca seca ao acordar. O ronco pode ser excessivamente alto e interferir com o sono dos outros. Portadores de sintomas mais graves costumam acordar com sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de sufocamento, refluxo esof\u00e1gico, boca seca, espasmo da laringe e vontade de urinar.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<section outros par\u00e2metros, durante o sono.<br><br>Estudos demonstram que a s\u00edndrome est\u00e1 associada a aumento na incid\u00eancia de infartos do mioc\u00e1rdio, derrames cerebrais e arritmias card\u00edacas.<br><br>Pode ser classificada, quanto a severidade, da seguinte maneira:<br><br><strong>N\u00famero de pausas por hora<\/strong>:<br>Menos que 5 = <strong>Normal<\/strong> | 6-15 = <strong>Leve<\/strong> | 16-30 = <strong>Moderada<\/strong> | Mais que 30 = <strong>Severa<\/strong><br><br>A apneia do sono n\u00e3o tratada pode levar a complica\u00e7\u00f5es graves, como hipertens\u00e3o arterial, doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas, acidente vascular cerebral, diabetes tipo 2 e problemas de sa\u00fade mental.<br>O tratamento geralmente envolve mudan\u00e7as no estilo de vida, como perda de peso, evitar \u00e1lcool e sedativos antes de dormir, e o uso de dispositivos de press\u00e3o positiva nas vias a\u00e9reas (CPAP) ou dispositivos orais para manter as vias oxig\u00eanio, que empurra o ar para as vias a\u00e9reas e facilita a respira\u00e7\u00e3o, melhorando a qualidade do sono.<br>\u2022\u00a0<strong>Cirurgia:<\/strong>\u00a0Feita nos pacientes que n\u00e3o apresentam melhora com uso de CPAP, que pode ser uma forma de cura da apn\u00e9ia, com a corre\u00e7\u00e3o do estreitamento ou obstru\u00e7\u00e3o do ar nas vias respirat\u00f3rias, corre\u00e7\u00e3o das deformidades na mand\u00edbula ou maxila.<br>\u2022\u00a0<strong>Corre\u00e7\u00e3o de h\u00e1bitos de vida:<\/strong>\u00a0Deixar h\u00e1bitos nocivos que podem estar piorando
